Chewy Rye IPL: How's this look?

I've got some 2124 running right now and need something hoppy in the lineup. My grain bill is Arrogant Bastard clone inspired. I think the accurate clones have 1lb of Spec B in them and a little RB. I think CaraAroma is similar to Spec B and it's in my inventory.

I know malted rye is better than flaked, but I have Flaked on hand. I'm still kicking around swapping Chinook or Columbus for the citra--don't know if orange flavor fits this grain bill and my Citra is very orangey. So, does this look chewy, or just a muddy mess?

You have a very interesting recipe and I say that in a nice way. Your grain bill looks good (to me), simple and effective. I am building something 'sort of' similar with a couple pounds of rye; cascade, Amarillo and citra and imho, I think the Citra's..... citrus flavors are going to bounce nicely off the rye.

So this amber malt is showing up twice today in hoppy beers. Again I am completely unfamiliar with it. What do you like about it chils? Or were you just trying to mimic the AB grist regardless?

Thanks for the feedback. I've never used this much dark crystal in anything before so I have no clue what it will bring to the table when paired with the citra.

I bought some awhile ago and have never used it. I liked what I have heard about it WRT its flavors in DFH clone beers---can't remember if it's in 60 or 90 min. So, ripping off DFH and Stone for this one lol.

Brewing this right now. 5 mins left in the mash, sitting at 152F. This is my first night brew in 6 years of brewing. I'm usually up at 5 AM starting.
