…and… back to the OP...AS I said in the other thread, I'm not brewing while in Germany. The beer is too cheap- less than a buck for a pint, and it's frankly better than the hefes I make, so screw it, save time and money. My last brew was about 6 months before I left for Germany, so springish, 2011. I said in the other thread that I brewed about once a month prior, but upon further reflection, probably every 6 weeks or so, pending impeding events.

My last batch was about a year ago (maybe a little longer than that) with FredGarvin. Up until about 2 years ago I was a 50-60 gal a year brewer.

Forgive me father, for it has been 5 weeks since my last brew. I am over 100 gal for the year so far. I had good reason though, all of my fermentors (13) were full and I had to keg all that beer, plus I had to build a mobile kegerator. It's looking like next week will be my next brew day since I gotta do some bottling and cleaning this weekend.Cheers,Rich

Don't toss it! I guess I don't need to tell you to taste it first, but CO2 is heavier than air. Even with a dry airlock, you may be okay! Even if it isn't great for consumption, make vinegar, distill it (hypothetically), or use it for cooking! I just hate to see anything (especially booze) go to waste!

It's most definitely not ok. I have little tolerance for crappy booze. This booze is long gone.I will go away and be replaced by something glorious. It's passing will not be mourned.

09. I can't brew where I live so I sold everything except my cornies since those will increase in price. I refuse to do small extract batches on the stove

Should make it by August. BUT that aint gonna stop me, Schwanzbrewer don't give a shit. Gonna brew at the FFIL's house after that *wink* to keep it legal.

I think my biggest obstacle to brewing is I don't drink as much as I used to and I don't live near my friends anymore. So 10 gallons could last me for a while because I'm the only one drinking it.

Brewed about 5-6 weeks ago. Decent blonde that I added Meyer lemon peel and rosemary. Just kegged it for the club meeting this Sunday. Have a mead with jasmine tea and star anise that needs to clear. Will be brewing for next week's Big Brew.
