This just made me go buy some 1469. I got a pound of EKG that should work out perfectly
Here's the grain bill for said beer: (for 5.5 gallons into the primary)
5lb Pils (or 2-row)
3lb Munich
0.5 lb wheat
0.5 C-40

What a lovely mess. Sorta looks like a Belgian shower cap
Nice. Looks like it's going to be an awesome beer.

I like Lindeman's Framboise and have it in the house often. My daughter turned me onto it.

Perfection on their own, pure heaven combined. Ken, look away.
You're an evil genius. I must do this.

My latest kettle sour- 50/50 2-row and Wheat- soured with Goodbelly Cranberry Watermelon Drink; after a 10 minute boil- steep .75 oz each of Simcoe, Citra and El Dardo. Then repeated the same hop bill for a dry hop at day 4 in primary- kegged on day 7. Its 5.5%, and reminds me of a very complex lemonade- citrus, and a kiss of dank from the simcoe.
Its going down wayyyyy to easy on a lovely morning after work.

That looks really good.
And sounds really easy to make. I know there have been threads about this here and there and part of me always thinks WHOO BOY! but I never do it. I think I would totally dig it.

^^ do you use Cascade early and if so does any of it shine through in the overall taste?
Yes, I do use Cascade as the bittering hop, but very little (probably no) Cascade character is noticeable in the final product.
If I perceive any, it's probably because I know it's there, but it's suble at most.

Is that darker than the commercial version or is it just the picture?
