Use PostImage. Go there, upload your pic and then choose the SECOND URL that it lists on the screen and then just post that URL between {img} tags and you're done. Works. Every. Time.

I'm done. Anyone use something other than IMGUR that a techno-moron-curmudgeon like me can make better use of?

 

unfortunately I don't have a better suggestion as of now.  I used to use picasa/google but that is no longer an option.  I'm using imgur so maybe if you describe your problem with it someone will have a way to mitigate it.

I have said it before Flickr is a good option.  They give you the code to post the picture and all you have to do is cut and paste.
