It is! I plan to do the identical beer with Hallertau seeing I am more familiar with that than Spalt and decided if the rye amount needs to be tweaked. I like the change from the normal tho.

10# Pale 2 row
3# Munich
3# Vienna
1# Melanoiden
30 min boil
4oz Goldings @ 30 min
2oz Goldings @ 2 min
