Very nice. You like the S-189? Never used it.

I like it. It's not my first choice but I like it. I try to keep some as a good backup option for lagers or if I want to brew without notice. It has a nice European character and it seems like it works better in malty styles.Very nice. You like the S-189? Never used it.

I took this for you all the other day then forgot to post it. Here's the all Amarillo APA I was talking about the other week now that it's finally cleared.

Beautiful. Agree on the foam... the head I've been getting on the pils above is crazy light and fluffy. It's as if a light breeze would pick it up and carry it away.

I know I've posted this before but what do you suppose is creating that thick, dense & fine foam like that? I have mentioned that my beers didn't always have that and I can't figure out if it's water composition, pH control, BTB or a combination. Whatever it is, I like it.Beautiful. Oh yeah, I think pkrone posted a page from a book showing that head formation and stability can be improved by a shorter boil. Hmm, that is good stuff.Let's not forget that short boil!
