Midnight wheat?!
Yup, just to add a smidge of color.

I like a couple of their beers: High Brass and their IPA are ok. I don't like Blood and Honey at all. Overall I think they make decent beer, just none very memorable.

Decent extract brew. I degraded the Citra too much in my calculations, so it's too bitter for style. I was shooting for 35 and got 45 or 50. Won't last long enough to clear.
you have some kind of lab device to measure those IBUs? beyond "more bitter than I'd like" I doubt you could accurately measure IBU levels with your taste buds alone. there are just too many perception factors at play.

My longstanding APA recipe shoots for 35-40. Same range as SNPA. This is more than that, but not as much as a 'traditional' IPA range of around 65. It's also right around the newer type APAs I was bitching about in the other thread. Hence. 45-50.

I can't keep up with all the great beer pics in here. Keep them coming. Here's my latest to hit the tap. A Pilsner; 95% Floor malted pils, 5% Carahell bittered at 30 with Magnum and given a solid dose of Sterling at 10 and 0 min. W34/70. Super crisp and flavorful. My first time featuring Sterling and its a really nice hop full of lemon and spice to my taste. Robbed of clarity by condensation.
