I have questions, but not sure if I want the answers.

I think I'mma try lager with 34/70 at warmer temps. We'll see what happens!
I've had good results, but knowing eastern KS like I do, I'd maybe consider waiting for cooler ambient temps.

Unfortunately no fridge these days, but I'll go swamp cooler with frozen water bottles.
That's what I've done for primary for many years now.
Works great, and you can lager in the keg once primary is done, since you don't have a spare fridge.
Yet.

I used to have two fridges, but we turned the garage into a family room. No room for another now, unfortunately.

As long as you're consistent with frozen bottles, you can get close enough into that 60F mark. If I can do it in a south Florida garage so can you. I kept rotating 4 16 ounce water bottles morning and late afternoon with no issue.
I try to do 3X per day, 6:30AM, 3:30PM, 10:30PM

Looks good, BJ. Time and cold are the perfect tag-team for clear beer.

Agreed. I've used the swamp cooler/frozen water bottle method for maintaining primary ferm temps for years, and it works well.
Probably could've gotten another chest freezer for the purpose, but spousal harmony put the kibosh on that plan.
So, frozen water bottles it is.
