Vented then hammered the tap into my cask of Landlord-ish bitter. Here is the first pour. Nice mildly bready malt and a tasty mouthful of earthy and fruity styrians on the finish. Could not be happier.
looks perfect for a cold winter night.

Wow. Now THAT is a beautiful beer.Vented then hammered the tap into my cask of Landlord-ish bitter. Here is the first pour. Nice mildly bready malt and a tasty mouthful of earthy and fruity styrians on the finish. Could not be happier.
Here is immediately after the second pour(s) (down my throat)

The color of dunkels can be deceiving depending on the glass, the lighting and how much is left in the glass. Here's mine in two different shots...
It's hard to believe it's the same beer.

You might want to shoot these in MF, as the AF has hit focus on things other than the intended subject. Like in the first photograph it's focused on the counter top instead of your beer. But, I guess that's a smartphone photo, so... MF may not be an option on that device.

Never mind, misread the comment

Yep, pics with a cell phone and I agree... not my best examples of beer pr0n. I seem to get decent results outside but in questionable lighting, all bets are off.
watch it mister!

Whoa! That's pretty.
Thanks! This one turned out better than I had expected.
The grain bill was 10lb of Weyermann Munich I (the light Munich) + a lb of Caramunich. Mashed low (~150 or so) for a good 90 minutes to dry the beer out; seems like that did the trick. Magnum + Hallertau to ~30 IBU's.
Brewed this the week before Christmas 2015, kegged 1/2/16, then lagered in the keg until ~2 weeks ago.
Turned out pretty darn well.

You're a giving soul, but I'll brave disposing of it solo.

Looks great. I have a Festbier coming up this weekend with 2352. 50/50 Pils and Munich 2, Magnum at 60 to get to 25 IBUs, 2352 Augustiner yeast. Simple and hopefully good.
Sounds pretty damn solid to me. Pics will be needed of the finished product.
