A darker Dead Guy? If Dead Guy was a Munich instead of a Helles Bock? Whatever it is it looks tasty.

it wasn't intended as anything in particular, the name comes from burning my hand on the keggle :( it is fairly close in style to Dead Guy, like you said a bit darker, and the Spec B adds a nice touch I think I am gonna like this one

believe it or not the original inspiration is an upscaled version of the LHBS Alaskan Amber clone, that I used to love making in my early extract days, it used Amber LME, Crystal, a touch of chocolate malt, Cascade and Saaz, with :crazy: windsor yeast

I think this one will be better than that

It's on tap now, it's evident that adding whirlofloc to the kettle after flameout doesn't work :D oh well, it is nice to have beer on tap again, if a bit murky yet

pretty decent, needs to get a couple weeks of cold aging to really come to fruition, in character it really does resemble an Alt more than anything, Malty, Sharply bitter, little hop flavor to speak of
