Weird...it's supposed to be public.  Here's where I got it....https://shop.theelec...ges/belgian-ipa

I would not mind being at their pub, as shown in the last 2 pictures, right about now.

Next one up on the list is a supposed clone of Stone Levitation. I don't really believe in clone recipes and I'm not actually trying to clone this beer anyway. I just wanted an American West Coast style amber and figured that anything close to Levitation would be good enough.

Getting an ESB going today.

Kegging this one today. Really good, makes me wish I had beer gas setup.

I wouldn't think that'd be necessary.  do most pubs serve ESB at high pressure?  that generally seems to be the reason to use a mix.  if you just want to have a decarbonated beer experience and a low head pressure isn't enough for you you could use a syringe or something to decarb the beer in your glass.

Yeah, it's not necessary, but would be nice with this beer. When I get around to redoing my tap system, I'll have a tap and regulator for beer gas.

Yep. I've thought about just getting another regulator and serving basement temp beer from it with a cobra tap. Should probably just do that, but am probably going to do a keezer and wall mounted taps next in the basement by the pool table in the next couple of years, may do all the upgrades at once. Currently I'm still rocking the mini fridge with two tap draft tower I've had since 2005.

At one point I had a beer gas set up but never really used it.  Ended up just giving it all away.  I am sure someday I will kick myself for that.

You'll have to start brewing again before that happens!

I had some saved verdant IPA yeast in mason jars but it's been around a long time.  So I just ordered 4 packs of verdant IPA yeast and 3 packs of diamond lager yeast.  Maybe this will get me brewing again....

One of my favorite recipes. I've been thinking about making this one soon as well. I'm sure he'll enjoy it.

My next one is a winter warmer, old ale, whatever you want to call it.

hit my starting gravity number (well, .001 off---i consider that hitting).   Water volume was off though.  It'll make beer....

Made my winter warmer yesterday. Gravity came up a bit short for the second time in a row. With a bigger grain bill I forgot to lower my efficiency when setting up the recipe and I also think I might be over-estimating how much loss I have from boiling and/or equipment losses. Anyway the recipe is from Craft Beer for the Homebrewer and it's the Ill Tempered Gnome from Oakshire.
