I would swear that when the yeast drops it takes something with it. I would even say that some yeasts are more guilty than others. Clear beer is nice but for me not at the expense of flavor. Nothing wrong if it does, but my IPA does not have to have the clear/manufactured look to it.

yeah - when the pliny clone was really cloudy was when it was the best. it's still a great beer now but something has been lost.

Yeast and hop compounds. I get that it probably has hop compounds in suspension that contribute to a stronger hop presence, but also yeast and other compounds that prevent it from being a clean tasting beerAs Tasty McDole always says, if your beer doesn't taste hoppy enough when it's clear, then you need to add more hops to the recipeHazy is one thing, cloudy and/or chunky is a totally different (and unacceptable to me) thing

Drez's Chinook/Citra APA. Looks darker in the pic than it is. First time using Bio-fine. This is a great beer! First time using Chinook hops and I am a fan. Great hop combo, putting this beer on the rebrew list.

Mane Beer Company's Zoe.  Picked one up in Chicago to try it. It's a nice beer.

Nice pictures nettles.  I did not realize MBC is avaliable that far west.  I like their beers, especial Peeper, but not at 6.99 each.

reminds me I need to get a picture of the ayinger dunkel clone up here.  seems pretty clear now but it's very dark so it's hard to tell how clear.  it's a really nice deep red color though.
