nice looking beer but every time I scroll by this pic I think there is a toilet in the background

So? Drinking and crapping is like peanutbutter and jelly. It just goes together.

No beets. It is a nut brown that turned out really good. I don't know if it was the lighting or what but last night was the first time I noticed it so red looking.

Yeah great color there Matt. Lots of brown ales around here lately.

Killer spread Pkrone. Ferment your own kraut too?

That's my wife's doing.   She needed a hobby now that we're empty nesters.   :D

An ankle injury has me not doing much so I spent the weekend close to the taps watching The Masters and playing with the occasional truck.

Beautiful beer. I can see making a nice brown in the coming batches. Something that is easy enough to drink even in warmer weather. Anyone ever make Janet’s or Denny’s??

Noti is a tasty brown ale for sure. Make sure to get the castle chocolate malt.

Not quite a pint, but probably one of the clearest beer's I've made! Only my second after my long hiatus!

Haha! well.....kindof?

I was going for just a light, easy drinking kind of thing. Just for my own experimentation, I wanted to use a higher amount of flaked corn in it. Turns out, my LHBS was almost out of Pils, and I bought what they had. I ended up going with a lot of flaked maize and Pils. I don't even have the recipe on this computer, but IIRC, it was Pils, Flaked Maize and like a quarter lbs Honeymalt. FWH with Sorachi Ace.  Not a great beer, but people drank it, and It's all I got left. The Stout I made for St. Patty's has been gone, even though I brewed it after! I streamed that Stout brewday on Twitch, and I'll de doing another brewday next week too!

Thanks. Good looking beer regardless. I've never used Sorachi Ace but I have had commercial beer both good and horrible that used it. Seems to be a like it/hate it hop for a lot of people.
