well it's an interesting shape. looks pretty rugged.
It is readly heavy duty!
I want to pick up a couple of these .5L ones. I have the full liter ones but some nights I just want a sample.

I have one of those half liter ones that I acquired *ahem*.
I also have some of the big 1L ones but I hardly ever use them.
I use the big one more than I thought I would, nice when the weather is cool and I am outside and it is full of Helles.

Nice and clear. All Columbus?

Yessir, all Columbus. I don't make many single-hop beers, but this one really turned out nicely.
Thankfully, wheat malt and Columbus hops are 2 ingredients I won't run out of anytime soon.

I should try an all columbus pale ale at some point. I really like it in a dry hop mix.

I thought I did till the last beer. 5g will be getting thrown out. I had used the other 2 hops before and the Columbus was a new package. OMG awful

So you think just a crappy batch?

I really like the way that Columbus smells. I could see a bittering addition and then very late additions. Looks nice BKLMT!
Thanks Ken; this beer used a bittering addition, plus a small FWH addition, moderate 10-min addition, and a rather large hopstand addition, all Columbus.

or the amount I used was too much

I don't think it would be for me. I've used more than that as the sole dry hop on denny's RIPA.

I will gladly send some to you to taste!
I am going off memory but it was 2 or 3 oz of Columbus, 4oz Simcoe and 2 oz Mosaic.

it sounds like something I should like. I wonder what happened though.

That is what I thought as well seeing I did it
It was something with that dry hop as I tasted it before they were added and it was fine. Only thing I can do is try it again I guess.

How does this do on Nitro? Does it strip anything away? I have wanted to try a IPA on nitro just never got to it.

This beer was hopped w/ Magnum to bitter, then Cascade and EKG for the late & hopstand additions. I don't feel like it stripped anything out; the hop character is pretty smooth, but to my tastes, it's pretty darn good.
