Lol. I like this glass because it holds a full 16oz can. I think it is 20oz.

I like the scenery.  are you near the top of a hill or something?  Kind of looks like the a little overlook up there.

We live in a small valley, about halfway up the hill. Not far from the middle of the city actually, but pines and scrub oaks and some wildlife. We live on the north facing slope, so gets pretty dark and cold in the winter. I just caught the sun before it dipped below the horizon to light the beer. There are houses on top of the hill.

That scotch ale looks nice. Great carbonation too. Did that weird taste go away?

For the most part. I think I just got in a rush to bring it in tap. I think it is partially that there is something about special B I don't care for. I used this recipe, though I did just 16 oz of the crystal malt. If I did again I'd cut the special B in half and do the full amount of the crystal malt:

Many times I have thought about doing that recipe... Old Chub was a great beer.

Yeah, I like Old Chub a lot. This was a little drier, but that's ok. I also wonder if the flavor was the smoked malt I used. I used cherry vs beechwood. Still, tastes like about the right amount of smoke. Dunno. Recipe is pretty close.
