If you want, I'll just bring cash to cover the difference if I was one of the ones who ended up owing an extra 3%.

So what is everyone going to brew first? I'm thinking I might do my first ever IPA (the price has stopped me until now).

I'm gonna start light, Ken's MLPA then a Smuttynose Portsmouth Lager clone. After that I'm going hard and heavy, probably an Impy Stout and follow up with a DIPA.

If yo do not mind me asking, what flander recipe do you follow? Do you do the oak peg in the carboy? I have my 2 packs of rosalare for a flanders red and brown and this will be the first time I do them. My plan is to follow the recipe in Brewing Classic Styles and see where that takes me.

Im basically gonna follow one of the suggested recipes the green board had in the long rosaelare thread. Then I dont really have a clue where to head...I want to get it as acidic as I can, I really love the sour bite that rodenbach grand cru has as well as the ommegang rouge (if you havent had that one hunt down a bar with it on draft). So I will likely do the dowel method to get as much 02 into the mix.

Just an update, I have everyone's payment confirmation. I'll put the order in on Monday. It'll be here by the end of next week and we can start breaking it up over the weekend. I'm out most of the day on Saturday, so it'll probably be easier to do Sunday or Monday. If you guys have preferences for times/dates to pick-up let me know.

Just bought 6 home depot #2 orange buckets and lids (5gal). This should get me started on the storage situation. I may buy more once I see what I'm dealing with...

So, what are you gonna get?

Probably a barley crusher. I'm too lazy to build anything myself ;)
