...next week. :P

Having all these grains around may just encourage me to try a summer brew this year - maybe...

How much rye you want? I am sure I can spare a few pounds ..LOL Mike

5 or 10? If you have plans for it all that's cool, I can always order it through the typical channels, I just figured you might be like me and thought, "I'll use a lot, might as well buy an entire bag." Thanks!

That is no problem, I think we can make that work. And yes, that was my logic. I use a lot of rye why not buy a bag. At least I am nto the only one that thinks like that!!Mike

OK, the quote is in. The pricing is a little different than the spreadsheet, so I'll update the spreadsheet and send it out to everyone.

The only big change in price was the Canadian Malting 2-row. They have it listed as $35.89 in the Homebrewers Catalog, but they quoted $27.56. Nothing else changed more than +/- 70¢.I'll send the new spreadsheet out in a few minutes.

OK, I sent it out to everyone. Some of you may pick up on the fact that their quote is for less than the amount on the spreadsheet. That's due to the fact that they accidentally left off bdutton's pound of Simcoe hops on the original quote. It was an oversight on their part and they sent me an updated quote that matches our spreadsheet. If anyone really wants to see it, i can send it to you.

Maybe it's my account, but it seems I can only pay via cc or echeck. The echeck takes 3-5 business days and I know you don't want everyone paying via cc. Any ideas? Never seen this before.

I had a major validation of this group buy, and bulk buying in general, today when I went by my LHBS. A sack of Maris Otter was $72.95 (GB = $40.79), a sack of 50# Briess 2-row was $57.95 (GB = 55# $27.56). A pound of Cascade was $44.95, Saaz was $49.95. White labs vials were $7.25/pc.I'm feeling pretty good about this...

Indeed - I'm figuring my batch costs are going to be about cut in half. It's going to be sweet!

Yup, just in hops and grain, I'm figuring about 40-50% reduction in cost. Add in the yeast culturing, and it goes way past 50%.

I've received word about payment from 4 of you. Only two remaining. Also, there may be an issue with the PayPal payments that a few people have sent. I got hit with a fee, despite the payments being from bank accounts. I'll get back to those people about what we want to do. I think we can probably get the order in pretty soon.

Damn PayPal ..

Yup, apparently because I'm a Premier/Business member (not sure how that happened). I get charged a 2.9% fee for payments from bank accounts, as opposed to a personal account where it would be free. :covreyes:Also, I did get word from the other two on the payment. Once we get this PayPal business straightened out, I'll go ahead and put the order in.
