Besides how much can your daughter have? It's only until marriage when you realize all the things you absolutely have to have hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

My wife laughs and tells me that I could absolutely live with one lamp, one plate, one glass and one set of silverware ;)

What are you going to use to chill it, about 100# of ice?  I do not envy the TX heat :)

Actually, 40 lbs...    :P

Turned in the final draft of the book yesterday so now I get to brew!  Gonna have to wait a few days til it cools down some, but then it's a Westmalle style tripel and a Rye pale ale with a ton of cryo hops.

I could be in a slump as well.  Lots of other stuff going on and I am trying to force brewing in and just going though some of the motions.  Need to step back and enjoy the process more.

Sounds familiar. <_<

Looks like Wednesday will be brewday.

Will be some kind of lager, as I'm brewing with an eye towards Oktoberfest.

Already have a (dopple)bock in primary, so either an O-fest or a Dortmunder.

Is this a "clone " of the Ale Asylum IPA or just the same name?

No clone, not even sure what that beer is. Honestly my wife named it. If I named beer it would be called IPA.

Nice hop bill Matt!

Thanks. I'm looking forward to this one. Wife has been on a big bitterness kick so this was her inspiration.

Going to try to squeeze in an easy one tomorrow. Thinking an easy-drinking summer-y bitter. MO base and maybe 4-5% of British C15 and the same amount of torrified wheat to 1.048 or so. A light dose of late EKG and Willamette and 1469 to bring it home.

I'm about to start sparge water for an Oat stout. Sticking to a 5 gallon batch for the first time in a while.

Extra skill factor as I try to cheap out and use the dregs of three different propane tanks.
