Yeah I only had maybe 5oz of it. But I really do love extremely over-the-top smokey beers. If Wendy's lets me use the name, I'll try to get the brewery to let me brew MY version of smoked doppelbock. It's called "The Baconator"Oh man, that New Holland brew is like bacon to me. The best Smoked beer I've had was Goose Island's "Second-hand Smoked." I had that New holland a few weeks ago, and I'm really glad I split the bottle with a bunch of friends cause I know I wouldn't be able to finish it all by myself.
What did you drink last night?

I split a pitcher of Celebration last night with a buddy and downed a few Widmer Brrr's. The first sip of the Brrr I was picking up a slightly metallic flavor. Anyone else getting that?sippin on a Fantome Printemps Saison right now and I have to say damn this is a really good beer! Absolutely perfect citrus balanced with the other spices, no one is overwhelming. Color me impressed.

I had a Bells Two Hearted on cask the other night. Really nice. Last night was a Rogue Mori Moto Imperial Pilsner on tap, tonight I had a couple of Terrapin"s recent "side project", Maggie's Farmhouse Ale on tap. And, as usual, the everyday beers, Bells THA, and Sweetwater IPA. Having an Old Rasputin right now.Well it's premature, but a friend sent me a 6er of Bell's Two Hearted for my bday, one of my favorites from my times in Kalamazoo. I'll be having a few of those tonight with dinner and then off to falling rock!
