So he can't brew a NE style IPA?

he could but it appears he failed and made a chunky mess instead.

Sure but if you want to talk about NE style beers how about some that are actually from New England.

Someone in Montana can brew a lambic but if I want to know what it should be like I would try one from Belgium. Just my feelings.

And I wouldn't pre judge a beer that I hadn't tasted.  What of the brewer of that lambic was a Belgian guy who'd been brewing lambics for 20 years and decided to move to Montana and brew them?  Remember when Pierre Celis opened a new brewery in Austin?  Did people shun his beer just because of where the brewery was located, even though he was the undisputed master of the style??

The point being that a brewer in the NE could just as easily have made a beer like that, too.

My point is clearly being missed. Try the beers I sent and please post back your feelings in those.

You bet I will!  Should I let them sit for a few days when I get them or drink them right away?

I would give them a day in the fridge just because of the cross country trip.

Very nice list, I haven't had building 8 IPA yet but have heard great things. Eureka with Citra is more of a session able hoppy blond but fantastic.

Just one version of Haze.

Agree on Eureka being a blonde but I had it and figured I would include it. Building 8 is off to a good start imo.

Working on it.  I'm doing one beer a day and blogging about it.  Once I've gone through them all I'll publish the blog.  Should be next week some time.

Nope, I'm afraid that if I post before I try them all that I won't have enough balance in the reviews.
