I just took a look myself tonight too and yes the prices are hitting rock bottom. I have plenty of hops but one year old and properly stored I don't think you can go wrong. $6.75 for Will I might buy 3lbs at that price. I am thinking I might find a way to stock up again since you know 2009 prices will be much higher anyways. I stocked up on 2008 hops back in May and they are all green and smelling amazing with each bag I use and reuse as well.

The '09 crop hops I've sniffed so far have been all aces...US hops, anyway.

There are a few varieties I wouldn't mind having some extra of...

Just bought 8 pounds, couldn't pass it up. This should get me through the rest of my grain and then some.

I feel your pain. That happened to me when the prices at Puterbaugh dropped the last time. I missed it by a week. Maybe this will make up for some of it.

I'm in the same boat. 2 weeks ago I bought Hersbrucker and Tettnanger, I paid $44 for both. Today they are $26 for both, live and learn I guess.

This years crop has been very good. At least of the hops that I have seen. Yakima Centential were very fragrant this year. I'm thinking our Yakima Harvest Ale will be quite tastey this year. It should be far enough along to start sampling fermentors this week.....BrewBasser

I think I'm responsible for the price drop. I freaked out last year and bought 25+ lb. at the $30/lb. price. I still have most of them left, so of course prices are going down!
