Also, I made this "pale vienna" by making the standard Vienna recipe that's been bounced around and just using half the carafa that is usually called for. The color came out very much as I expected.
Post a picture of your pint...

Kolsch. Pils/wheat 84/16 2565 25 IBU's. Nice, if maybe just a little plain. I like the pils/carahell one I did this spring a little better.

Lol Thanks! The hop combo is really good and is much different than Citra alone.

I think I would like that combo. I would really like it after crushing a couple pints of pkrone's kolsch

Hanging out in the backyard this afternoon and had a bee in my beer...
Appears to actually be a bald-faced hornet. I saved it but it might be a little buzzed.
Got me a new beer... American lager w/Swaen Pils, Vienna, Swaen Gold Hell, Hallertau and Bayern yeast...

Nice looking beer! I just got done brewing something similar.
Pils, Vienna, carahell and carafoam with 6oz of Hallertau from 15-0. 34/70 for me though.

Nice. I do have a pilsner with a similar grist and more late Hallertau sitting in the on-deck fridge. Pics when yours is ready!

Beautiful beer Ken. I too have a very very pale lager (lagering) mostly Pils with a touch of Vienna and Carapils. A ton of Hallertau Mit at the end, the wort was green heading into the fermenter. 34/70 did the hard part and it should be on tap in another week. Pics to follow
