Ken, show him the recipe from the one you sent me. I know its here somewhere.
ETA: Oh and Drez that's a great looking pilsener! I am back on the lager bandwagon as soon as I can procure a second fridge.

My pints are not lasting long enough for me to take a picture. Also I don't have an image hoster to use anymore since you can't link from google photos anymore.

I have made a couple of these and they're all very, very close. The one I posted most recently is HERE. I think there is some good supporting information there regarding water, pH, etc. Tough style to make consistently well but such a great beer. I made another version with 2002 which is now in secondary. Feel free to use 34/70 as it's not far from 2124 but I think that 2124 gives this beer exactly what it needs. Cheers.EDIT: I think the key to this beer is the FWH. I think it's critical. I know I've probably said this before but if I had two glasses of similar beer in front me, one FWH'd and the other one not FWH'd, I think I could tell the difference. There could be some mental hocus pocus going on there but I don't think so. The character is very distinct and I think it lends a German vibe to the beer. Just my 2¢.Ken, show him the recipe from the one you sent me. I know its here somewhere.

I was having trouble uploading to picasa so it's just google photos that I have now. I'm gonna have to get something else.

By the way, I do intend on making a bet fulfillment thread here in a couple weeks when I bottle up some beer for our stanley cup thread. I'll have pics there for sure.

sometimes the lighting is tricky. I have found that if you have an exposure compensation setting on the camera that works well to knock the background light down and not have the beer be all dark.
