BTW the problem with the head on that beer was that my face wasn't in it. Lest this was interpreted any other way.

Lulz. I remember tapping that beer but it was about to run over so I took a big slug of beer to keep it from overflowing. Otherwise it may have been fluffier.BTW the problem with the head on that beer was that my face wasn't in it. Lest this was interpreted any other way.

Thanks Ken. Now that I" popped the lager cherry" I am ready to do a few more. I have some 833 to make the Dunkle Evil_Morty posted but I may save that beer till fall and work on something else in the mean time.

Was this your first (or among the first) lager? So many great things you could try... Oktoberfest, bock, dunkel, Jamil's Vienna (which I recently made with 940), Czech Pils and the list goes on. You have the tools and you have the technology. You have the homebrewing army and you are armed with all the best information. Grab a recipe and giddy up!Thanks Ken. First lager I have ever done. In all my years brewing ( going back to like 2003 I think) I have only done ales. As you know I love hops, but this is a very pleasant change to have on tap for me.
