If we were using Dan's shipper shouldn't he have shipped first? Seems senseless to ship an empty box, plus guys late in the list would have a long wait both for receiving and sending. I will have some stuff ready soon that my target is interested in so I was planning on shipping early.

Sharing beer is the point, but if we want to wait for the box and ship then that is fine as well. I can just brew something at the time when it will make sense to get to him close to peak.

Yes I agree he should ship first. I guess I assumed that was the plan all along. (I didn't really study the shipping list other than to find out where I was.)

Very true, it would be easier IMO for everyone to just put their own box together. Thanks to Dan for organizing this and getting people interested either way.

Yeah same here. Maybe next go around Dan will get a box made and can do it that way.

That's the best part of a cigar pass. Because everybody in the pass tries to out do the previous guy. Not really that practical in a beer pass.

What I had said was that we can start now and when it got to me I would at that point start the official box in the rotation. I was hoping for a one at a time due to the fact that I don't brew that often right now and this would give me more time for each batch. If everyone mails at the same time then I think we are going to have to start allowing for non home brew beers to be added for people who are not ready.What say you all?Dan

I am fine with whatever. I have beer and can send in a few weeks when I get back from vacation.How long do you need to build a box Dan? If everyone just starts shipping now and over the course of the next few weeks the first pass could be over. Then whoever Dan sends to with thee official box can start the next circle.

Im fine with waiting. It will be worth it. Im sorta in the same boat with Buzz. I just sent him a few beers and would like to send something a little different this time.

Buzz already mentioned earlier in this thread he was fine with me sending him beer again. Unless he has changed his mind.

No changes to this would upset me. What ever makes it work out best for everyone.I had thought about asking Rich since he and I are in such proximity of finding a way to share whatever I got with him,kinda doubling up his ability to taste other blewbies beers via this round about. Maybe even con him out of a beer or 2 of his :-D
