Got a sixer last week as well. I think it's pretty good. Not a beer I would kill a six pack of...but it is a beer that I can have a few of.

I havent tried it yet. It's in the fridge getting cold. I hope I'm not disappoint....

Wait till the label turns blue....then you know it's cold enough to drink.

I like the beer OK, but until they put more rye in it I'm calling it "Timid Rye".....

I guess they need to overcome their fear of sparging with rye

I know it is different for homebrewers but I did about 23% rye the other day and it ran no different than any other batch.

It's good, but for me Bear Republic's Hop Rod Rye is still my number 1 :wub:I have all the ingredients (other than the ingredient of time) to make Denny's RIPA, can't wait to try that.

Meh, it's not bad. I can drink it but like said by someone else it sure as hell aint no session beer.

Both of those beers are good. You can taste the rye in those offerings.
