Thanks! And you spent substantially more typing it out than I was willing to do. lol... I didn't realize when I did it that an Enigma Machine would be needed.

+1000 on Cave Creek Chili Beer. Nasty shit. Also Stella. I lived in Belgium for a year in the mid-80's and Stella was in all the cafes. It was pretty much undrinkable to me. The other big pilsner was Jupiler. Anyone had it? I really enjoyed it at the time.

I have four left of a Cave Creek Chili Beer six-pack. It was nasty and skunked when I bought it 2 years ago. (I actaully sent an email to the company and was told it was impossible for it to be skunked. Right.) I threaten to bring out a bottle when I think the people in my beer tasting class need to be punished. What I really liked about Jupiler is that you could buy it from the vending machines at the train stations.Southern Tier hasn't done much to impress me, but their crème brûlée Imperial Milk Stout made both my teeth and my soul ache.

You know, taste is such a subjective thing. One man's nectar is another man's poison. Years ago, I wanted to see why some people would invest such a great amount of time, expense, and effort to make some of these sour beers with bacteria, so I tried one of them. My impression was that it tasted like someone soaked a festering goat's hide in a bucket of formaldehyde and malt vinegar. Yet to some, it is the nectar of the gods. And just the thought of crème brûlée Imperial Milk Stout, as was mentioned, activates my involuntary gag-reflex. Likewise, a particular beer I absolutely love might, to some others, taste like a senseless assault on the taste-buds with a ridiculous overabundance of hops.I guess my point is that I would hesitate to argue with anyone about what beer is good or bad, because it depends entirely an individual's sensibilities. There is no universal truth to be found. Now that I think about what I've written, I guess I'm stating the obvious.

I'm going to have to nominate Arrogant Bastard Ale for the winner of this thread... outstanding bottle, but every one I've tried tastes very unbalanced.

Weeping Radish beers...any of them. I've tried them all, and every time I've been met with oxidation, infection, diacetyl...I don't like a lot of the Breckenridge beers I've had.

Magic Hat "Wacko". Tiny bit of English yeast character. Some sweetness. Mineral-water quality. And a hint of beet. Not good.

No offense taken! You may be right on your second point  . I can drink them, but even my worst beer is better than theirs and that's just not right!

Definitely not my favorite beer but worst? You need to try some more crap beer I think...

My first Fat Tire was one of the best beer-drinking experiences I ever had. Then my wife brought a sixer back from CO and it was awful, just undrinkable. Gave one to Cam, and he hated it, too. Something was just wrong with that batch. Now whenever I drink it I taste some of the same nasty taste that was in that bad sixer, although not as strong. It ruined the beer for me.I had an Endo IPA from Cottonwood recently that was disgusting. I've had other beers of theirs and been underwhelmed. I took one sip of this, though, and new I wouldn't take another. The only question at that point was whether to swallow or spit.

Fat Tire...bad beer from a great brewery. My favorite New Belgium beer is Skinny Dip.

I don't think Fat Tire is the worst (definitely the worst that New Belgium makes), but it is HIGHLY over rated. Same with Bell's Oberon! I just don't understand what people see in these two beers. I really hate Buffalo Bill's PumpkinFor breweries that make several styles that I really enjoy Big Sky, Breckenridge, and Lefthand all don't make a single beer that I like.
