[HVB]

Yakima Valley Hops sends out and e-mail about Cashmere hops for $11/# and next thing I know I buy 4 pounds of hops.  pound each of Cashmere, Simcoe, Saaz and Spalt Select.  I do not feel that bad because I sold off my tilt yesterday so these are like free

Any opinions on Cashmere?  I picked up some and read great reviews and am wondering if it can stand alone in the finish or if it needs a friend.

I'm thinking of picking up some more hops. What are the best options other than hop heaven? I'm thinking of trying to maybe get some stuff Ted didn't offer this year.

Maybe better to wait until fall? Not sure. Getting pretty hot out there now and I wonder how they'd travel.

They have a coconut tropical thing going on and are a little woody. They seem to be a love it or hate it kind of thing. Definitely a unique and interesting variety tho

Last time I ordered from YVH, I ordered on a Sunday and received Tuesday. FROM THE OPPOSITE COAST! The only reason I used Hops Direct this time was to get Nelson Sauvin. YVH only had 2019 NS for $4/2oz (only option). I got 8 oz of 2020 for $10 at HD.

That is my view about it and YVH ships fast so the heat should be OK.
