8 lb of hops coming at me!

So pretty good timing I think. Label is created but arrival date isn't until Saturday. Hopefully that means shipping won't occur when things are crazy hot at least around here.

Brewed today but didn't use a ton of hops (just 4.5 ounces). Just winged a brew with MO, GP, Rye malt, and hopped with Green Bullet and Wakatu. I used Jovaru yeast. Active fermentation in less than 4 hours. It's in my 85 degrees garage. Looking at 90+ for the duration.

yeah - just sent them a message.  just in case I cracked open the bag and resealed it in my own vacuum bag.

I could use more Citra, I only have about 6 ounces left. I should have included that in my last order.

Hmmm, so they told me the hops would be fine and gave me a 10% off my next order code.

Not exactly what I was expecting. More business for Ted from now on I guess. I mean for the right price I might use these guys again assuming the hops seem good but this is a little off putting.

I have never had an issue with the hop quality. I am surprised that is all they did though. This is no fly by night place tho, they are partnered with one of the big hop distributors.

tempting but I have to be honest that the last bag YVH citra wasn't as green as my other hops I got from them.  maybe it didn't affect anything.  not sure....
