OTOH, I've had such good results with 48 hours at 35F I'll never do it ant other way. I have to admit that this is about the only place I've ever heard of unsatisfactory results. As to O2, overblown concern IMO.

O2 is an overblown concern?

Also could go to 48 and check again and then warm up if you want.

I'm pretty shocked this is all so mysterious. How complicated could it be :P

I shut the glycol off and will let it raise up slowly.  I also threw 10PSI on the carb stone to see if having it carbonated helps.  If by Wednesday I do not see an improvement I will hit it with 2-3 more ounces.

Could part of it be because it's not carbonated? Certainly the carbonation helps bring out aromas.

I'll say my beer is not carbonated much at all right now so just by smell there isn't a crazy amount going on but if I breath while taking a sip this is hoptacular. Very "juicy" as the kids say.

It had some carbonation just not full. We will see what it is like tomorrow. It is low on the oz/g since I only used 3oz but vic is powerful. Time will tell.

Sitting at 55 now and at 10PSI.  I am pleased with it.  I was going to add 2 more ounces but seeing this is a 4.1% light pale ale I decided to just leave it alone.  should make for a nice hot day beer.  I will most likely keg it tomorrow.

So I dry hopped for a little over two days under pressure but the beer want very carbonated. Temperature was about 39f. It was a little over 11oz of hops in 10 gallons. Mostly citra, a little less Idaho 7 and about 1oz of bravo. Tastes very fruity. Great citrus/fruit punch kind of flavor. Aroma seems good but it needs more carbonation for me to really know. I'll report back.

Aroma was my issue.  Flavor was good but it lacked that awesome hop aroma.  I will just see how the carbonation and a proper glass do with it and make notes for next time.  I will be bringing mine back down from 55 tonight and get ready to keg tomorrow.

so I guess I kind of agree the aroma isn't quite as intense as I thought it would be.  the taste is very good though.

I'll admit the carbonation still needs a little more but I don't think it's going to take it to epic levels of hop aroma.

IMO yes it is.

That seems to go counter to brewing science and all the anecdotal evidence I’m aware of but if you say so

Ted, what do you think I'm experiencing here? Do I need more contact time to get more aroma?

I used to dry hop cold for the entire life of the beer. Just left the hops in there. I def had some beers with loads of aroma back then. Maybe I should just go back to that...

Mine was better yesterday with 72 hours on the hops.  24-36 of that was at 55.  I still debate about adding 2oz to the keg.
