TeamViewer works pretty smooth.

Linux server available?VNC not working too well. It shows my desktop but I can't edit. Possibly a config problem.ETA: Figured out how to enter text. This is a little clunky but useable.

That's a possibility. Wouldn't need VPN but remote desktop like VNC might work if they have an Android client.ETA: httpss://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.realvnc.viewer.android&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5yZWFsdm5jLnZpZXdlci5hbmRyb2lkIl0.

Yeah, VNC.  I'm sure that's what I would have meant if I actually knew what I was talking about.

I'd be curious to hear how well you get this to work.  I've been thinking of giving it a try.

I tried it out with my Windows machine here at work, which has a copy of ProMash on it. It worked good enough I think. For one thing the resolution of my laptop is higher than my tablet but you can move the desktop around with your finger. Also data entry is a little clunky. You tap in the field you want to edit and then a symbol appears on the bottom of the screen. Tap that and it brings up the keyboard, then you have to switch over to the numeric/symbol keypad if you're entering numbers. Like I said, a bit clunky but workable. The main things I need to do on brewday are:
[*]Look at my recipe.[*]Look at my mash schedule (mostly strike water temp & volume).[*]Look at my pre-boil gravity & volume targets.[*]Enter the actual pre-boil gravity & volume for efficiency calculation.[*]Enter the OG when I'm done.[*]If I miss my efficiency I need to work out how to compensate.[/list]I think I should be able to manage that.Note that I used the Open Source VNC server for Windows and the androidVNC client, both free.

Does ProMash have a mobile app?

The concept of mobile app hadn't even been invented yet when ProMash was last updated.

I like the app.  The timer runs in the background so I can do something else while it's going.  It worked well, I however did not on hitting my OG!
