Philly is an awesome beer city anyway, so you will have plenty to do while the Conference proper is taking place. I am guessing that the hotey is going to be hoppin after it is done. I can vouch for massive amounts of beer being brought. Or we can meet out. I think that Wed could be a good night for a meet up. Otherwise, I am thinking of buying a ticket to the BN party at World Cafe Live.

My first time too. You do need tix for anything in the conference. I don't know about bar specials.

You need tix for all conference events and AFAIK there are none available.

How late do the ticketed things go? Certainly there are after-parties?

Events usually last til about midnight IIRC. I'm usually long asleep at that point. The hospitality suite stays open til 2 AM, but you need to be registered for the conference to get into that.

I'm going, bringing the train in with a friend of mine...I'm about two hours out. Coming in on Thurs afternoonish since I didn't get the Thurs seminar tix.The NHC sent around an e-mail with a list of stuff to do including brewery tours. I don't know if you need to have conf tix for those events or not. I will probably try to get around to the local brewery joints around Philly at some point but have no formal plans right now.

You need a conference registration to take part in the "official" tours. But there's nothing to prevent you form doing the same route on your own.

Honestly, I dont think NHC would be any fun without any of the tickets. I would see if you could get at least a social ticket from somewhere or someone.

ChefLamont, that would be awesome! I am willing to pitch in my fair share for gas. I'll shoot you a private msg with my contact info.Trying to lock up my travel info ASAP. I'm in a wedding the week before so I have to figure out lots of different travel and childcare arrangements while I am out of town.

We could get tix to the Brewing Network anniversary party.  $45 and it is at the World Cafe Live.  Awesome venue.  Live music and beer is included at least for samples.  Maybe an opportunity to recruit new blewbs
