Ok, that's funny. It's called Yakima Glory on the site, but the bottle says Yakima Twilight on the bottle. A black IPA. I would try it if I knew it was fresh.

Absolutely not!I don't know what you're talking about. I would never say anything like this, and it just is not true.Celebration gets its aroma from malt yeast and hops. Whole cone hops.Molbasser

I'll have to do a side-by-side. They're similar. The seasonals that I don't like are the ones with spruce, juniper, etc... Bleah!

juniper? ewwwwwi have had spruce brewed brown ale, interesting beer

We did a juniper black ale that was really good, it was in last year's beer camp variety pack.Molbasser

My bad, I remember talking about how great the rose smell was and thought it was due to some oil or extract actually from roses. Must have been a conversation about another beer.

I used to brew a triple that used some juniper berries...it was great.St Fueillien clone maybe? Been so long I can't remember..

a little goes a long way, most Junipered recipes I have tried over the years were ZOMG pine tar :crazy:

I could imagine..My recipe just had about an ounce near flame-out IIRC....also had bitter orange peel :wub:
