Munich + Pils = delicious regardless of what you are trying to makeWell, I got the idea from the aforementioned BN podcast for Vienna Lagers. They seemed to think that you could do a Vienna equally well with 100% Vienna or 2:1 Munich:Pils. Seeing that I have stock of Munich and Pils, that became my starting point for the recipe.
Been listening to the BN podcasts

When you are brewing you can be strict and follow BJCP and such or you can change a recipe and add your own creativity and get a great beer. I have brewed a couple IPA's in the past months and used German Pils as the base malt, not Am 2 Row but I have never had anyone question or ask about it from taste. +1 on the Pils + Munich.Well, I got the idea from the aforementioned BN podcast for Vienna Lagers.
