You do know what sex in a canoe is right?

I'm guessing that it's a reference to the difficulty in doing the deed and not capsizing the canoe.

The truth is that many, many of my beers could be considered light, wimpy, malty, unhoppy, etc. and it's always good to have a beer like that on tap. Today here in Chicago it finally warmed back up and it's very humid and in the 80s. My daughter has a softball game and when I'm back from that, down to the cool basement to hit some of the oh-so-drinkable stuff I have down there. Cheers.Yea it's low. My versions usually end up closer to 15 IBU's as I don't feel like getting out a scale accurate below .25oz . 8-15 IBU's tastes pretty close to the same and if anything, a little better.
I think a lot of people in this thread would be pleasantly surprised by what a fresh Yuengling lager tastes like. It does not age well in any form with cans probably being the worst. The version I posted definitely has more to it than the original. The crystal 60 alone adds quite a bit to a beer with so little else. I stand by the fact that every time I've brewed it the keg kicks, it never takes very long, and I'm not the only person who drinks it!

Good point. I did sample some Yuengling when I was in NY and also when I was in Atlanta. I think it would be nice on a warm day and I certainly am not against it in any way. My Hacienda Lager (an attempt to copy Victoria Lager from Mexico) is similar... 4%, light amber, probably has some corn, easy drinking, etc. Also, my sister who lives in Atlanta says "YING-ling" and I think it looks like "YOUNG-ling". What is correct?malty implies taste.

I have good taste. I don't think I have good flavor.
