Seriously. Ruined my weekend. I always have that perfect timing that I get sick on the first day of my 3 day weekends. I might call off work sick tomorrow just to make up for some of the things I really did need to get done. If I have time I might try and sneak in a brew session.Too bad you got sick, could have squeezed my brew in on your rig this week instead of next weekend.

I'm pretty disappointed. I didn't do the Hammer again this past weekend. The weather's been abysmal and there's no end in sight. I'm crossing everything I've got for a Labor Day brew but I'm not optimistic.I didn't get the Hop Hammer made last weekend so hopefully I'm going to get that done this weekend. I'll drop it on the yeast from the Scarlet Pumpernickel that I made a few weeks ago.

How'd the show go? any pics? we should of had you hand out the web address here.No brewing for me this weekend. I am heading over to Winston Salem NC area (Clemmons NC) for the Great NC Beer Festival Great NC Beer Festival This is slated to be a pretty big festival with many microbreweries and homebrewers alike. I am signed up to serve with my friend/colleague and we are pouring 3 beers on Saturday. American Pale Ale, Belgian Tripel and an India Black Ale all brewed by myself. This is the first year for the festival but I think it will be awesome. We have a great location a tent that is right near the entrance of the fest. We are pouring beers under my homebrewery name of Midnight Marlin Brewery. Logo and all is on the Festival site as well. Really looking forward to it. Progressing to the next level. I will be brewing next weekend though. Cheers guys!!We are pouring 30 gallons of beer

Kegdude,It was a good time. I really enjoyed serving my beers and I got a lot of great public feedback too. My Belg Tripel was the most popular of the bunch. I brewed 10 gallon batchs of each three beers and we poured all of them plus an extra half keg of Tripel so roughly 35 gallons in about 4.5 hours. The crap part and people around here were pretty upset but the organizers never told it ahead of time but they sold 15000 tickets and had 19000 people. They only had 40 breweries involved so the lines were so long. We tried to go try some pro brewers but a lot had been done too. It was an interesting time though too. I took a few pics but nothing of much excitement. Here is my website if anyone wants to check it out too. Thanks!!
