While it might be nice to not have newbie questions, a lot of newbie questions are what drive traffic. That how I found the other board in the beginning. After I had read Palmer's book, I was looking for more information and stumbled across it on a google search. It is nice to not have to wade through pages of posts to find one that is on your level, so to speak. I'm wondering if the beer forum could be broken down into experience levels so that doesn't happen.

While I think it would be nice to have experience based subforums or something, the problem that I see with that is that the newbie forums probably wouldn't have that much traffic from experienced brewers as they would likely just stick with their experience level forums. So the newbie posts wouldn't be getting the attention that they are getting now.
