Mash hopping at casa de Stout Fan:

15 to 20 POUNDS of fresh picked Cascade, 1 bag of pale malt (Breiss will do)

If I want a high gravity I just mash and sparge.

Our last batch Ironkite suggested just throw the seconds running in for a 1 BBL batch.

1.060 OG AWESOME!

We FWH

60 min

45 min

30 min

15 min

and knockout all later additions with Cascade, Centennial and Amarillo pellet. Slight variation on CJ's recipe..

Like 20 pounds of freakin' wet hop!

We miss ya CJ!
