Thanks. I have been wanting to finish the trim around it for a while. Looking like that may be done in the next few weeks now!

Give Label Peelers and Ritebrew a look. Their prices are good, shipping isn't too horrible, and both have pretty good turnaround times on getting stuff delivered.
Beats having to trudge to the LHBS and risk dealing with the public at a time like this.

Ritebrew got my money yesterday and most times.

Morebeer got mine $$. I just ordered grain though. I guess I picked a good time to challenge myself in reusing yeast; 1728, 3711, 34/70 and Diamond all on hand. 3 corny's at least at 3/4 full, a fermenter of Saison and enough grain to make 3 batches.

I've got a saison cold-crashing, a Dort almost ready to cold-crash, and an Am. IPA on deck for next week.
Got 3 kegs partially-full of IPA, stout, and Irish red lager.
If nothing else, brewing is my escape in normal circumstances, but with the corona stuff going on, brewing is becoming even more important as a way to escape/unplug/recharge.

I hear you. I have lots of kegs I can fill so I figure if I have the time I will. I also got to where I feel I can can beer pretty well. Need to keep my dad with a supply of cans.

Always take care of the 'old man.'
He builds all the brewing parts I ask him to so a couple of 4 packs is well worth it.
Depending on how long this continues I may have co-workers looking for cans ..lol

Well its official, new date for the wedding is 10/9/20. Looks like I have some serious drinking to do.
Get on it man, but come up for air once in a while cool?

If there is a silver lining here, I'd suggest this: you have a chance now to enjoy the fruits of your labors, and give your beers some serious scrutiny and see what (if anything) you'd change for future batches.
Worst case? You get to enjoy some good beer, which IMO is a welcome thing in these wierd times.
Better case? You confirm that the beer you made would've gone over well at the wedding in question, so you can recreate your efforts later this year for the rescheduled wedding and let the guests enjoy then what you made now.

I need a snorkel, shaving cream, a pinata, and 5lbs of cottage cheese. I'm going in.

These were all classics except the ipa. My buddy brewed it and I brewed the stout for him. The ipa is stellar though, I'm gonna have to figure it out.
Not much to figure out, mang. A stellar IPA is a rare gift, and you should enjoy it in its prime.
The other beers will keep for a bit yet, so you can partake (and should) at your leisure.

It's been way too long since I've brewed a batch, and l've been thinking about it this week. Last night my wife mentioned something to me about it and I admitted I was thinking about it. Got up this morning a bit later than I wanted, and frankly, wanted to get some sourdough loaves going. I didn't have a recipe ready or anything. I know I've got enough grain, hops and yeast on hand to make a generic beer, but I need to revisit my quantities and review my process... so I'm going to do it next Saturday instead.
Oh yeah... so what's new in brewing?

Main thing I've noticed is that there are many more varieties of dry yeast and hops out there, now!
And nobody does secondary fermentation any more.
