For RI I would say Grey Sail, Shaidzon and Proclimation. Although some may have too much haze for him.

well I'd def consider meeting up for a beer if the distance isn't too bad. I can get to Boston in about an hour.

You have your New England brewery tours all lined up for after HomebrewCon?
Noipe...I probably won't have time to hit any. I think Drew is on Wed. but I have meetings all day...that's your GC at work for you! But I'll be at the party Wed. night.

Could I use 100% Barke Pils, bitter with Hallertau and add more Hallertau at flameout and ferment it with 2124?

I feel like I could. As you might expect, this beer is very straightforward. It's crisp, it's balanced, it's German and it's delicious. I almost always add something like vienna, munich, carahell, etc. to a beer like this.Yes.

For this one, I'd go with 100% pils, Barke in this case. Hallertau as you posted above, and let 2124 work its magic.

I really have to allow some of my lagers to age a bit and I'm short on beer so I went to my bottle shop today and bought a case of 16oz cans of this Paulaner Original Munich Lager. $38. That's $1.58 a can which seems pretty good for such a high quality beer. The date shows BEST BY FEB 26, 2020. Not sure what that says about the freshness of it but all of the other cans I have picked up were delicious.

I thought so too. I told myself "I'm not even checking the price. I wouldn't be surprised if it was fifty bucks!" and then... $38. Nice.
