OK, so the trailer for Beer Wars started all this?Who's going to see the movie?Personally, I got tired of the trailer playing nonstop that I gave up looking for a theater location and closed the window post haste.

I don't mind if a micro is partially owned by a macro...that has absolutely NO influence on my purchase decisions as a consumer.Good beer is good beer.

I think there's more to it than that for a lot of folks. My thoughts when reading the bogus release when I started this thread was how some folks do care about more than just the finished product, but also how the corporation behind it behaves in society. I wouldn't call myself an activist type but there are products I avoid because of the manufacturer's business practices. When I see a big agri-business putting small farmers out of business using aggressive tactics and lawyers up the wazoo you can sure bet none of their grains will find their way into my brewery!

While we're at it, I believe Pilsener Urquell is owned by SABMiller.
