LOL, no, not yet. I've just been wanting to try an extract batch for a while. I had a gift certificate to MoreBeer, so I bought some. Unfortunately, I didn't get it brewed last night, I decide to bag leaves by the moonlight instead . Maybe tonight. It'll actually be nice doing an extract batch as my first batch on the electric kettle.Run out of grain!! LOL
Who's brewing this weekend?

Sit down, drink a Budweiser, and remember WHY you go through all this trouble.Sorry to hear it went bad for you.Personally, I brewed this year's Samiclaus. Stuck mash on one tun. Had to give it a BJ. :cheers:Eventhough, it still ran slow. The other ran OK. Yea, I needed two tuns.Hit preboil grain comliment OG with NO DME!And hit post boil OG ===> 1.120 with no finagling required.A few problems dealing with the starter though.5l starter from 2 vials. Crashed, decanted and a second 5l starter. Blew through that in a day!Second runnings were 13 gal at 1.072. We actually had to throw wort away.... THAT hurt! :)So I have Pilsner maltESB color and strength (albeit on the top end)Magnum bittering,Fuggles flavor addition.Fuggles and EKG aroma (5 min)Yeast is US-05I call it a Mongrel ESB. Should be interesting!edit: 89 pounds of grain BTW in a 13 hour long brew day!Follow up:I hit all of my marks.Started the chill.Stepped inside to check the game score.Came back out. Hose had come off the boil pot to the chiller. I have about 5 gallons of wort instead of 10.5.Ripped a hop bag cleaning it out.Someone shoot me.
