decided to go ahead with a belgian yeast 1388 IPA. I'm making a small batch since I'm a little short on grain and just in case it doesn't turn out well. If it does work out I'll keep the yeast and make another in a month or so. If not it's time for a scottish 80 next.

I wanted to brew a scottish 80/- this weekend but if I don't feel better tomorrow it won't happen :)

10 gal of session bitter today, got my strike water heating as I type. Getting rid of some of my older hops on this batch, all nobles with WL's premium bitter strain. Sipping on my first real attempt at an Alt, not too shabby. Cheers everybody :)

Double Whammy, 2 - 10 gallon batches of APA, and a Robust porter. Both were made with Pacific gem, as the bittering addition, the APA had cascades, and the porter had willamette as flavor/aroma additions.I never used P gems before, but they smell awesome, and everything I heard about them is good.

Had a good brew day, did a AP. Brewed with a NB. The addiction set in fast. From the first taste of Jimvy's Quite Storm he was hooked. Plan to let him brew his first few batches using my setup. So he can get some idea how he wants to setup before he starts buying and building equipment.
