It's Instant Pot. Thanks for the bean supply suggestion I may try them out. I'm not wasting another day long cook on these old ass southern beans.


Pinquintos are my go to, I make them all the time when I do Santa Maria BBQ... I don’t do instapot, but I’ll just soak them overnight, they’re a dream to work with never undercooked

Made Speckled Cranberry Beans this week.  Great texture, very creamy, but not as much flavor as some.  The caballeros are pretty good too.

I have for other recipes, but never this one.

The instapot trial makes me think they were stale.

Well, one bonus for you Matt.  The entire bean shelf was wiped out at my grocery store by corona virus panic shoppers.   :D    If the same by you, you'll know your stock has been rotated.   :lol:

 

I was at the grocery store and this thread was the first thing I thought of when I saw the shelf.
