Yup. We pretty much have to have a twitter, instagram, facebook page, socialcrapida thing in order to get viewers as well as possible as revenue so we can keep doing it.

In the opening minutes of the first shoot he points out that he knows me, that will give him street cred.

Meh, if we do then we just cease and desist. There are a lot of Top(name) things around the net.

Hey SchwanzBrewer - I'm going to be in Tampa for spring break with my family March 22 - March 27th. Any "must hit" beer spots you recommend?
Also.....would any Hunahpu be around or is it gone on that day.
Thanks!
Mark

Its only sold on hunahpu day. YOU MUST GO TO RAPP BREWING! If you like german/american beers then Rapp's is the place to go. He makes excellent beers. And since you are in the area, might as well stop by Pair O Dice, they are west coast oriented and make some damn good beer. They are only a couple miles away on the same road. Cigar City is obligatory.
St Pete - Cycle and Green Bench. Dunedin - 7th Sun, Dunedin, and Barley Mow.

OK, so we switched gears last night. We were going to go to Dunderbaks for the Belgian thing, but we figured that we didn't want to spend $50 each to go. So we went to a local tap takeover in Ybor. Highlands Brewing took over the taps at King Corona. I'd not had much highlands beers, but the english IPA was really good, so was the Mocha Stout. And when I paired a Nicaraguan cigar with the mocha stout... Like lightning went off in my brain. It was awesome. The tobacco flavors complimented the stout so well. It was really a treat. I'm not a cigar guy, but that might be something I end up getting into.
Tonight is Cask Ale Night at the Wild Rover.
Cheers!

My partner - Dan - went to Cigar City Cider and Mead for a Funky Buddah tap take over. They talked to us a bit also at the Brewers Ball and invited us out to the brewery. I went to The Wild Rover last night for Cask Ale Night. I've only had a couple cask ales before. The Wild Rover is a traditional english pub. 1 TV that's never on, only for football matches on Saturdays and Sundays. They have 4 beer engines and 4 cask ales on tap at all times. A bunch of other breweries sent over their casks as well. It was a really cool event. I talked with the brewer, the brewery and pub - there's a double decker bus out front that they converted into a food truck - is entirely family owned and operated. Mom cooks, dad manages, son brews, and daughter in law bar tends. Really nice family. I want to go back and do a full episode on them. The pub is cozy, warm, and everyone friendly. They recapture their roots - mom and dad are from England.
Anyway, I'm dragging ass today. I got home last night at 12:30 and crashed as soon as I could get in bed. I feel like I could sleep for a day right now. Beer week is kicking my butt. To top it all off, I have to brew on Sunday. So that means tomorrow morning I have to make a starter. Then somehow I have to step it on Saturday after Hunahpu day. I'm gonna be really glad when this week is over. Oh, and somehow I have to find the time to help edit the first episode.
I think next year we'll work it out so Dan and I alternate nights and events so we don't burn out.

Went to an epic bottle share last night. There were lots of whales. Some great, some just average really. Some jester king stuff was really damn good. Finally got home at a reasonable hour and got some sleep. I feel much better today.
Tonight is BBQ and Brew at Pair -O-Dice and Hunahpu Day on Saturday.
Cheers!

lol, wait until you see footage from beer week. A lot was shot on cell phones because we couldn't get the go pros out - someone else had one and the camera/editor guy had one, but couldn't make it out. hunahpu will be shot with the big camera though.
