Saison on Saturday.....I know it's late for this but we are trying Wyeast 3711 for the first time in hopes of ramping it up for some dark Saisons and/or Belgian IPA in October.

Recipe if you please?? I have been looking for a dark mild recipe.Brewing plans are all for Mon. Wife and I are hosting a rather large get together Sat. and it usually spills into most of the day sunday with the closer friends. Nonetheless, Monday is going to be a double, 10 gals BVIP, and 10 gals chocolate stout.

In the new issue of Zymurgy its all about session beers and there are some good dark mild recipes in there...If i remember when I get home i will post some.

I made my first Kolsch today, 10 gallons. Kinda missed on the mash in and had to add some water to cool it down, which ended up leaving me with a rather thin mash. I also made 5 gallons of Pale Ale. For my first brew day in 4 months or so, it went pretty well. Unless I'm missing something :P

Brewed 5 gallons of Vienna lager yesterday and just finished kegging two batches of my back 40 blonde lager, brewed with different hops and same yeast and grain bill. Only a few more days before I can do a side by side comparision on them. Happy brewing.

I'd be a little worried have a tank of propane and a tank of oxygen that close to a burner.
