I just put a batch of Memory Lapse into the fermenter. (Taking a break before cleanup.)That's my third batch in 16 days, plus I brewed a 10 gal IPA just two weeks before that.Today - 5 gal Memory Lapse PA8/12 - 5 gal Homegrown Blonde8/2 - 5 gal Dry stout7/18 - 10 gal IPAOnly 35 gallons this whole year up to 7/18, then 25 more gallons in just these few days. Gonna do some kind of wheat - probably a wit - on Sunday as well to get set up for a lager run of 10 gal each of American Standard and Octoberfest. :P I need to get that serving fridge full enough to last me through hunting season...Who else brews on week nights?

.....Who else brews on week nights?

I do it once in a while. I live close enough to work that I can mash in at noon, or sometimes sneak away midafternoon to start it. Lately, it's been Th/Fri afternoon, or the weekend. Nice to be able to do that but when I'm not there I can't pay myself...........OTOH, this works real well. WTH. I think that was posted as EST, it wasn't quite as dumb as it sounded since I'm CST. That was a great beer.........

Tonight I am planning to brew my 3rd batch in 10 days, a summer wheat. But I had also taken a couple of months off, so I'm playing a little catch-up. One of the 3 was an ABT 12 that I need to stash away for the holidays (actually brewed it a month later than I would have preferred).I like to brew during the week if I can get home early from work- and if I know I can't brew on the weekend. :P

I just realized I won't be able to brew this weekend because the blonde won't be ready to leave the fermenter by then. :P I'm just not set up for that kind of volume.

Yea, I've got 10 gallons worth of free fermenter space, so I'm brewing tomorrow morning. I'm getting tired of all these work meetings!

I bottled 5 gallon each of my lime hefe(thank you chad), dubbel, oatmeal stout, and a vanilla nut ale today, all brewed in the last month, still got a tripel and imperial stout aging, won't do anymore for a while, need to use the carboys for fruit wines coming into season.

Man, that's some pretty serious brewing BrewerGeorge. It seems that for one reason or another, this summer keeps getting away from me. I've brewed two batches since May and am really in need of another 10 gallon batch soon. You might just have inspired me to try a session tonight while I can.

I brewed two batches last weekend, ken's red ale, and a simple stout. I have the next 10 days off , forecast is rain and appts tomorrow. Want to make atleast three batches during this time. A light brown, and more IPA for sure.Wish my capacity was set up for bigger volume batches.

I've been in a bit of a slump all year too - only 35 gallons up to this run when I normally hit about 150 gal/yr. That's why I was a bit surprised by my recent compulsion to brew.

I got 6 kegs flowing, 1 carbing and one sitting in secondary (Belgian Tripel) Brewing 10 gallons of Rye IPA Friday night. 10 gallons of Ofest headed to secondary and lagering tomorrow as well. I buy into the brew more than you can drink that way you never run out of beer.
