So I'm in Pennsylvania at my brother's house. We go to this place out on the water called Dukes. Ate the largest platter of nachos I think I've ever seen in my life. Follow it with a plate of clam strips (no beards, though. ) Washed it all back with a couple of schooners of Troeg's Pale Ale.On the way back to the house we go to the ABC distributor, a place called Glen Miller's Beer and Soda. We wander through there looking for some beer to take back to the house, and I search out the Sierra Nevada products. I find that they have cases of SNPA, Kellerweis and the Harvest Ale.Conspicuously absent, however, is the Torpedo, which was specifically what I was looking for. We tackle an employee."Hey, dude. You guys still have any Torpedo sitting in the back?""Yeah. We keep it in the cooler over there. Not much left, though" *points*So Kevin and I make a beeline for the cooler. Once there, we find 2 cases of Torpedo sitting on the shelf. I snag one case and head toward the door.WOOT!! We never even got this stuff back home. Awesome stuff.

One sixer was enough. I am not a big fan of hefeweizen, although it was good. Nice banana taste.

yea yesterday i bought a 6'er of the porter and SNPA 23 freaking dollars! i know i got jacked but it ws in a uppity neighborhood and I was already a bit drunk.

Pricewise, I'm not complaining. I got a whole case of 24 for $31.00 plus tax. Fine by me.

thats what i bought yesterday. 6'ers went from about 7.99 to 8.99 in most places but some even went as high as 9.99 then the new liquor tax jacks them up about 2 bucks and some change.I was happy withthe purchase but it did hurt the wallet.
