I've added citrus zest at flame out with fair results. I was thinking about adding a pouch of zest to the secondary or keg. Just wondered if anyone has tried this?

I brewed a Belgian Wit and zested an Orange right into the beer during secondardy. I got a lot of good feedback from that method and would try it again. I had added some dried orange peel to the end of the boil but after fermentation it didn't seem to come through as well hence the zesting. I think in secondary it works best or it did for me. Hope yours turns out great as well.

When making my Wit/Hefe recipe, I've had MUCH better results using zest (orange, lime, or lemon) that from using any kind of peel that is out there. The flavor just comes through much better IMO from using the zest...
