Cut the ribs into 2 rib sections.

Place the ribs in a bbq sauce marinade overnight.

Take the ribs out and wrap in tin foil.

Put 1/2 cup water in slow cooker along with a sliced onion and 2 cloves fresh minced garlic.

Place a raised metal steamer basket in water to keep ribs out of the liquid.

Layer tin foil wrapped sections in slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours.

Unwrap sections and brown the sections on the grill adding BBQ sauce as needed to caramelize.

The ribs came out great... pulled off of the bone.  Because the steam thinned the bbq sauce in the tin foil wrap, I should have added some more bbq sauce to the ribs before putting them on the grill but they still were great.

Slow cooked overnight was best and after cooking, i placed the still wrapped ribs in the frideg. Once cooled, i unwrapped and put in a bag of bbq sauce and refrigerated until ready to cook.
